Find & fix duplicates
- Go to
Tools > Duplicate SKUs & Barcodes. - Review the list — each row shows a product, variant, and the duplicated SKU/barcode value.
- Select the variants you want to fix using the checkboxes.
- Click
Open selected variants in bulk editorto update them directly in Shopify. - Assign a unique SKU or barcode to each variant.
Once resolved, the page will show "No duplicate SKUs found."

Check for duplicate Barcode/SKU instead. - Bulk edit — Select variants and open them in Shopify's bulk editor to fix duplicates in one go.
- Download full report — Export all duplicates as a CSV with product name, variant title, SKU/barcode, and admin link.
Why duplicates matter
Synkro matches inventory across your connected stores using SKUs (or barcodes). When two or more variants share the same value, Synkro cannot reliably determine which variant to sync — this can cause sync conflicts and unexpected inventory changes.
